Job summary

Smith is seeking technicians to support inbound and outbound IT hardware operations. You will receive, inspect, test, repair, and catalog equipment, erase data, and ensure timely processing of purchase orders. You’ll label, package, and document inventory while adhering to ESD and safety standards.

The role requires 2+ years in IT hardware work, relevant certifications, and strong communication. Overtime may be needed; lifting up to 35 lbs is required, with teamwork and proactive problem solving

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience assembling, testing, troubleshooting and repairing IT hardware.
• Certifications listed in the education section are highly valued.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Stage, organize, and process purchase order materials.
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and catalog IT hardware.
• Erase data and reset storage devices to factory specs for inbound products.
• Provide status updates on purchase orders and meet deadlines.
• Create reports and suggest process improvements to Operations.
• Adhere to ESD, quality, safety, and recycling policies; assist other teams.
