This role blends mechanical design with hands-on shop floor execution to support repair, overhaul, reverse engineering, and modernization of turbine equipment. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in manufacturing or rotating equipment.
• Experience with steam turbine inspection, repair, or design preferred.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Reverse engineer steam turbine equipment and components using data and legacy documentation.
• Perform mechanical calculations and analyses (bolting, stress, deflection, fits/clearances).
• Create or validate models and drawings in SolidWorks for turbine components and repair solutions.
• Review and approve detailed drawings for turbine components with GD&T and assembly considerations.
• Translate inspection data into engineering instructions for manufacturing and assembly teams.
• Lead and participate in design reviews, bid clarifications, and kickoff meetings.
• Provide on-floor and field engineering support in coordination with quality and operations.
