Job summary

Fox Innovation & Technologies Inc. is seeking a Product Design Engineer with specialized expertise in centrifugal compressors.

You will support repair, overhaul, rerate, revamps, and modernization efforts, integrating engineering analysis with hands‑on execution on the shop floor. The role collaborates with machinists, welders, field teams, and project managers to translate teardown data into actionable solutions, using SolidWorks and related engineering tools to deliver high‑quality components

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing/rotating equipment.
• Experience with centrifugal compressor inspection, repair, or design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reverse engineer centrifugal compressor components using field/shop data.
• Perform mechanical analyses: bolting, stress, fits, tolerances.
• Create/validate models and drawings in SolidWorks for compressors and repairs.
• Review drawings for impellers, shafts, seals, casings with GD&T.
