Job summary

Nexplore is seeking a part-time Instructor to deliver in-person STEAM and related programs to PreK-12 students. You will follow provided lesson plans, prepare materials, and keep classroom standards high.

AA degree or higher and 2+ years of teaching are preferred; reliable transportation and strong communication are essential. Training and curriculum are supplied, with compensation of $60 per hour per class.

Qualifications

• 2+ years teaching/instructing (preferred).
• Must commit to the full proposed schedule.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Follow provided schedule, arrive on time and prepared to teach (review lesson plans/materials).
• Deliver standard-aligned instruction fostering critical thinking and problem solving.
• Communicate professionally with the Program Success Manager and site staff.
• Deliver engaging instruction from Nexplore’s programs and adapt as needed.
• Engage families and support student participation in Nexplore programs.
