Job summary

HOLT CAT is seeking an Apprentice Shop Service Technician for its Texas First Rentals operation in Fate, TX. You will learn and assist under the Shop Service Supervisor, performing maintenance and basic repairs on rental fleet and equipment.

This entry-level position emphasizes learning through on-the-job training, safety compliance, and collaboration with internal and external resources to help keep work moving on Texas jobsites.

Qualifications

• Education and experience: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance and repair of rental fleet.
• Assist with installation, repairs, maintenance, and replacement of mechanical and electrical components.
• Examine and test equipment, components, and parts to ensure proper functioning.
• Adjust, connect, or disconnect wiring, piping, and other parts.
• Attend required classroom instructions by Pro-Tech and HDSI classes.
• Maintain safety training and procedures.
• Receive coaching, mentoring, and feedback from service leadership.
• Require regular and punctual attendance.
• Work safely and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
