Job summary

Texas First Rentals is seeking an Apprentice Shop Service Technician in Fate, TX. You will learn on-the-job while assisting the Shop Service Supervisor and concentrate on preventative maintenance and repair of our rental fleet.

The role emphasizes hands-on training, collaboration with internal resources, and ongoing self-development through Pro-Tech and HDSI classes, with a strong safety program and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Basic arithmetic and its applications
• Ability to use computer software and hardware

• Capability to learn various repair procedures on mechanical equipment

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance and repair of rental fleet.
• Assist with installation, repairs, maintenance, and replacement of mechanical and electrical components.
• Inspect and test equipment and parts for proper function.
• Connect or disconnect wiring, piping, and tubing as needed.
• Attend Pro-Tech and HDSI classes as required
• Maintain safety training and adhere to safety policies
• Receive coaching and feedback from service leadership
• Maintain regular attendance and work safely
• Perform other duties as assigned
