Job summary

SMI Security in South Florida is seeking an experienced Security Operations Manager to oversee multiple client accounts, ensure staffing, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

You will supervise Site Supervisors, Shift Supervisors, and Security Officers, manage staffing, overtime, and reporting, and coordinate with HR to maintain proper staffing levels while ensuring compliance with Florida regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida Class D Security License.
• Valid Florida Driver License.
• Reliable transportation.
• Experience supervising Security Officers and Supervisors.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and work flexible hours.
• Ability to travel between assigned client locations.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily security operations and multiple client accounts.
• Ensure all posts are properly staffed and operational.
• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled site inspections.
• Supervise Site Supervisors, Shift Supervisors, and Security Officers.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, attendance, and callouts.
• Work with Recruiting and HR to maintain proper staffing levels.
• Monitor and control overtime, with a target of under 5%.
• Build strong client relationships and respond to concerns.
• Handle security incidents, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with SMI policies, client requirements, and Florida security regulations.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance management.
• Prepare staffing, overtime, incident, inspection, and performance reports.
