Job summary

SecurTec, a Florida-based security services firm, is hiring an Area Operations Manager to lead day-to-day field operations across our sites. You will staff sites, hold guards accountable, and ensure client satisfaction, acting as the primary decision-maker for daily operational issues.

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, you will drive staffing plans, coordinate with finance and HR, and implement post orders and SOPs for contracts, while leveraging a company vehicle for site visits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory or management experience in security or related field.
• Valid Florida driver's license with clean record.
• Valid Florida Class D & G Security Officer License (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to on-call and travel across sites.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operations across all sites to ensure service delivery and contract compliance.
• Visit sites regularly using the company vehicle to monitor performance and support supervisors.
• Serve as primary point of contact for site supervisors and guards during business hours.
• Escalate only issues that require VP of Operations attention; maintain on-call availability for emergencies.
