Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a SCADA Engineer in Austin, Texas, on-site, to own SCADA systems across renewable energy and battery storage projects. You will program SEL/RTAC relays, manage substation automation, and coordinate PLC logic for utility-scale assets.

The role offers a clear path to senior technical leadership. You will work across controls, software and power systems from early design through commissioning, engaging with operations to ensure reliable infrastructure

Qualifications

Proven experience programming SEL systems, RTACs and substation automation.
Experience in power automation and enterprise-grade SCADA.
Experience with PLCs and logic control of utility systems.
Experience with SQL databases and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

Support installation and commissioning of equipment remotely and in the field.
Develop, maintain and support communications and reliability of site MET towers and data loggers.
Provide off-hour support for emergencies and major system events affecting generation assets.
Support engineering in evaluating technical design drawings, specifications and requirements.
