Job summary

Maine Oxy seeks a hands-on Safety Manager to lead our company-wide safety program. You will report to our Partner and Chief Operations and Safety Officer and present to the Board monthly. This role offers visibility and tangible impact within a growing safety culture across multiple states.

You will drive safety improvements, manage workers' compensation, and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating with our team and safety partners in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of safety experience in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial settings.
• Experience leading a safety program and engaging cross-functional teams.
• Solid knowledge of OSHA general industry standards and recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safety program for plants, retail stores, and delivery fleet across multiple states.
• Partner with captive insurance group, broker, and claims administrator; monitor loss data.
• Manage workers' compensation claims from report to closure, including return-to-work.
