Job summary

Anchor Point Management Group is seeking an Assistant General Manager for a Taco Bell unit in Rancho Cordova, CA. The AGM will oversee operating hours, supervise staff, ensure cleanliness, hospitality, product quality, and speed of service, and will train employees while role-modeling professional behavior.

You will manage shifts, assist with hiring and onboarding, monitor safety compliance, and collaborate with management to hit sales and efficiency targets.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong preference for an internal candidate who completed mandatory learning zone training and certifications.
• Must hold a high school diploma or GED.
• Must possess a minimum of 6 months in a shift-management or supervisory role, preferably in a service-related business.
• Must possess legal permission to work in the United States.
• Must have open availability and the ability to work flexible hours and all shifts as needed.
• Must have basic math and reading skills.
• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must have the ability to learn quickly with a can-do attitude.
• Must come to work with good hygiene.
• Must have reliable transportation and must be able to arrive to work on time.
• Must demonstrate the ability to maintain inventory controls and to coach and train employees.
• Must maintain a positive, friendly, and courteous attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders.
• Prepare and package food and drinks according to standards.
• Operate cash registers and handle payments.
• Maintain cleanliness across front and back of house and restrooms.
• Assist with food prep and dishwashing as needed.
• Restock inventory and supplies.
• Manage shifts to ensure fair treatment and regulatory compliance.
• Coach and develop team members.
• Recruit and onboard new Taco Bell employees.
• Address safety concerns and report issues to management.
• Conduct daily food safety and prep audits.
• Monitor inventory, sales, labor, and expenses to meet targets.
• Assist with scheduling and team deployment.
• Ensure timely service and resolve bottlenecks to maintain margins.
