Job summary

Anchor Point Management Group seeks an Assistant General Manager for a Taco Bell unit in Rancho Cordova, CA. You will oversee operations, supervise staff, coach team members, and ensure cleanliness, hospitality, product quality and speed of service.

You will train employees, respond to guest needs, and model strong customer service and financial controls daily. This hands-on role requires flexible hours and a commitment to excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 6 months in a shift management or supervisory role.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Open availability and ability to work flexible hours and all shifts.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly with a can-do attitude.
• Good hygiene and reliable transportation.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain financial controls and coach/train employees.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders.
• Prepare and package food and drinks per standards.
• Operate cash registers and handle payments.
• Maintain cleanliness of restaurant including back-of-house, lobby, and restrooms.
• Support with food prep and dishwashing as needed.
• Restock inventory and supplies.
• Manage shifts and ensure fair staff treatment and legal compliance.
• Provide coaching/feedback to team members.
• Assist with onboarding and developing Taco Bell employees.
• Address safety concerns and report issues to manager/HR.
• Conduct daily food safety and prep audits.
• Monitor inventory and cash procedures, and assist with scheduling.
