NorthPoint Search Group is seeking a hands-on Controller for a small commercial real estate firm to run the accounting operations and connect day-to-day property and development accounting with executive management.

The role covers month-end and year-end close, financial statements, cost tracking, lender draws, bank reconciliations, cash flow, AP/AR, payroll, and coordination with outside consultants on benefits and renewals.

Formación

• Experience as controller in real estate or related industries.
• Strong understanding of property and development accounting.
• Proven ability to manage close processes and reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Run month-end and year-end close and prepare property-level financial statements.
• Track development and construction costs, manage lender draw requests, and handle acquisition/disposition accounting.
• Oversee bank reconciliations, daily cash flow, and funding sources; maintain safeguards for checks, ACH, and wires.
• Coordinate budgets, external tax returns, and partner waterfall distributions and project IRRs.
• Manage full-cycle AP/AR and cash receipts; process payroll and coordinate benefits with outside consultants.
