Job summary

ITT Inc. is seeking a Brake Dynamometer Test Technician to support setup and execution of dynamometer brake tests within R&D and OE projects, ensuring accurate results and reliable reporting. The role works with a multi-functional team to advance product development and customer support.

You will operate lab software and equipment, prepare samples, perform measurements, and help maintain a safe, organized lab environment while adhering to ITT safety policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: technical school AA or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
• Hands-on, self-motivated team player in fast-paced settings.
• Proficient with MS Office suite.
• Experience with testing equipment: data acquisition systems, thermocouples, accelerometers, microphones.
• Strong prioritizing, organization, mechanical and mathematical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate Link software and test lab equipment; set up and tear down dynamometer test configurations; ensure tests run to parameters.
• Prepare test samples and hardware; perform initial, intermediate and final measurements.
• Assist with internal fabrication projects (dyno fixtures).
• Support VLM management.
• Perform preventative maintenance for dyno lab equipment and tools.
• Support shipping and receiving of testing components and office supplies.
• Support laboratory process flow and scheduling.
• Help maintain a safe and organized work environment.
