Job summary

Dynamic Manufacturing Inc. is seeking a Test Engineer to design, implement, and maintain testing strategies for automotive powertrain components. You will work with engineers and technicians to improve test results and equipment performance.

The role requires strong data analysis, LabVIEW, and PLC/HMI programming skills, along with experience in PPAP activities and mentoring junior engineers. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Hillside, IL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering with 8–11 years of related experience.
• Experience with automotive transmissions, engines, and powertrain components.
• Strong ability to analyze test data and develop testing procedures.
• Experience with LabVIEW, TestStand, and PLC/HMI programming.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain testing strategies, sequences, and machines
• Mentor less experienced Test Engineers
• Lead PPAP activities related to test engineering functions
• Develop applications for analyzing testing procedures, results, and limits
• Lead throughput, capacity, and KPI improvements on testing systems
• Collaborate with product engineers, operations, and root cause technicians
