Job summary

ENVICOOL is seeking a hands-on Quality Manager to lead shop-floor quality across incoming materials, production processes, finished products, suppliers, and customer quality. This is a shop-floor-based player-coach role, not a desk-based quality systems position.

You will personally investigate significant defects, lead containment and root cause verification, and drive corrective actions through effective closure on critical quality issues that affect production and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience leading on the shop floor in equipment manufacturing.
• Proven track record resolving quality issues with effective containment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and 8D methodology.

Responsibilities

• Lead IQC, IPQC, FQC, and OQC activities with inspection plans and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain daily presence on the production floor and troubleshoot quality issues in assembly, testing, and leak checks.
• Lead containment, root cause analysis, CAPA, and close corrective actions for defects.
• Monitor supplier quality, issue supplier corrective actions, and support supplier audits.
• Define final and outgoing inspection requirements and review release records.
• Oversee customer inspections, complaints, returns, and 8D investigations to closure.
• Maintain ISO 9001 controls and support audits and cost-of-quality reductions.
• Develop and coach the inspection team while handling high-risk quality tasks.
