Job summary

PEG Staffing & Recruiting is seeking a Quality Supervisor for a growing manufacturing operation. The role centers on owning the Quality Management System and driving real improvements on the shop floor, not just in slides.

You will lead quality documentation, build KPIs, and partner across functions to raise the bar. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in quality/CI in manufacturing, hands‑on Lean/Six Sigma/SPC/MSA, and comfort with reading engineering drawings and ERP/QMS systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in quality and/or continuous improvement within manufacturing.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 (audit experience a plus)
• Hands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, MSA, capability studies
• Comfortable reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Experience with ERP and QMS systems
• Background working with steel, stainless steel, or aluminum preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead quality documentation and execution: PPAPs, FAIs, capability studies
• Build and track KPIs that matter (not vanity metrics)
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions using 8D (non‑negotiable)
• Prepare for and support internal and external audits
• Manage calibration programs and ensure audit readiness
• Partner cross‑functionally to improve processes, reduce defects, and raise the bar
