Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join a leading manufacturing business in Worcester. You will work hands-on to identify root causes, drive containment and long-term corrective actions, and partner with production, engineering and suppliers to improve quality across a busy plant.

You will engage in APQP, PPAP, 8D, 5 Why, PFMEA and Control Plans, balancing practical problem solving with formal quality planning.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quality Engineer in regulated manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of APQP and PPAP.
• Experience with 8D, 5 Why and root cause analysis.
• Understanding PFMEA, Control Plans and quality planning.
• Experience handling customer and supplier quality issues.
• Hands-on problem solving and continuous improvement approach.
• Ability to work with production, engineering and customers at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Own quality issues and drive to long-term solutions.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and suppliers/customers.
• Involve in APQP/PPAP activities and quality planning.
• Investigate root causes and implement preventive actions.
