Job summary

Weastec is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive containment, root cause analysis, and permanent countermeasures for rejects across the company and overseas TEC plants. You will act as a key quality liaison among customers, suppliers, and global partners, supporting warranty issues, new model launches, and continuous quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality software.
• Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (root cause analysis, PDCA, PFMEA, control plans).
• Strong problem solving, communication, and time management abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Own reject-resolution process for parts issues across customers, in-house, and overseas plants.
• Serve as primary quality contact with customers, communicating containment actions and timelines.
• Develop and present technical quality reports to overseas plants and leadership.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to implement process changes.
• Lead facility walkthroughs and layered process audits to ensure quality standards.
• Support new model start-up and warranty investigations with cross-functional teams.
• Analyze quality data (defects, PPM, cost of quality) to identify trends.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
