Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking a Quality Engineer for a permanent role in the aerospace and power generation sectors. The role supports a Quality Manager, ensuring regulatory compliance, process improvements, and consistent production quality.

The candidate will lead AS9100 audits, maintain calibration systems, and support QMS, NCRs, CAPA, MRB, and supplier/customer quality activities to ensure on-time delivery and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experiences in Aerospace Quality Engineering.
• AS9100 internal and external audits experience.
• Six Sigma training or certification.
• Strong investigation and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in data analysis using Excel; familiarity with Minitab a plus.
• MS Office suite proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience in technical/quality report writing.

Responsibilities

• Support the Quality Manager in pursuing business objectives.
• Maintain regulatory and third-party approvals.
• Assist with product and process improvements.
• Ensure production continuity and customer satisfaction.
• Improve quality, cost and delivery continually.
• Meet customer expectations on delivery and quality.
• Be flexible and move between work areas.
• Carry out any reasonable request by Senior Management.
• Maintain calibration system and ensure traceability.
• Lead internal audit program including AS9100 audits.
• Support external audits and customer visits.
• Maintain and update the Quality Management System.
• Support Non-Conformance and CAPA processes.
• Lead weekly Material Review Board meetings.
• Maintain the Corrective Action Log and true root cause actions.
• Maintain stamp holders log and training for quality signatories.
• Support First Article Inspection and Production Part Approval processes.
• Support production traceability requirements.
• Maintain the specification database and revisions.
