Job summary

CR Services, LLC in Madisonville, KY is seeking an experienced Quality Control Engineer to strengthen inspection, supplier quality, weld quality, and quality documentation. This hands-on role requires ISO 9001 familiarity and the ability to drive corrective actions with suppliers and internal teams.

The ideal candidate reviews drawings, inspects welds, and uses CMMs and precision tools to ensure conformance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on quality professional with experience in manufacturing quality.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
• Ability to inspect welds and read engineering drawings.
• Experience with non-conformance resolution and corrective actions.
• Knowledge of AWS CWI or NAS 410 preferred, or ability to obtain.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform first article and incoming part inspections.
• Review parts, weldments, castings, machined components for conformance.
• Develop and maintain inspection records, criteria, and sampling plans.
• Support root cause investigations, corrective and preventive actions.
• Interface with suppliers on quality concerns and follow-up actions.
• Ensure ISO 9001 documentation control and process improvements.
• Coordinate with engineering and production to resolve non-conformances.
• Perform weld visual inspections and qualified NDT as needed.
• Follow safety policies and PPE requirements.
