Job summary

GH Engage is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on a diverse portfolio across Connecticut & Westchester County. You will coordinate subcontractors, read drawings, manage schedules, and uphold safety, quality and timely delivery.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, accountability on the job site, and close collaboration with the Project Manager and stakeholders to drive successful outcomes on multiple project types.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction experience.
• Previous experience as a Project Superintendent / Superintendent with a GC or Construction Manager.
• Strong experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades.
• Solid understanding of construction scheduling, sequencing and site logistics.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on approach and ownership of a project site.
• Strong focus on safety, quality and schedule.
• Experience across commercial, healthcare, education, multifamily, senior living, hospitality or institutional construction would be relevant.

Responsibilities

• Managing daily field operations from mobilization through completion.
• Managing project sequencing, logistics and short-term schedules.
• Coordinating subcontractors, vendors and multiple trades.
• Reading and interpreting drawings, specifications and construction documents.
• Monitoring quality, progress and safety throughout the project.
• Identifying and resolving field issues before they impact the project.
• Coordinating inspections, deliveries and site logistics.
• Working closely with the PM on RFIs, change orders and schedule updates.
• Leading site meetings and maintaining clear communication with project stakeholders.
• Ensuring work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications and safety requirements.
