Job summary

Ground Effects LLC is seeking a Production Lead to oversee and direct the assigned team on the shop floor, ensuring production requirements are met and safety standards are followed.

You will act as the bridge between supervisors and employees, provide positive guidance, support new process setups, and conduct quality audits to meet defined specifications. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Must have experience in production-oriented environment.
• Preferred: Previous leadership and problem-solving skills is an asset.
• Must have valid Michigan Driver’s license.
• Familiar with IATF 16949/ISO14001 requirements.
• Demonstrated organizational, communication and computer skills.
• Preferred: Blueprint reading a definite asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production assisting associates with a hands-on approach and positive guidance.
• Be visible and assume leadership in continuous improvement including associate training, quality and safety.
• Responsible for new process setup and tear down.
• Perform audits on products (received, in-process or finished) to established quality requirements and document findings.
• Ensure quality records are completed and filed or routed appropriately.
• Enforce rules and codes of conduct; ensure incident/accident reporting and housekeeping.
