Job summary

Ground Effects LLC is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing of vehicle-related products on the production floor. You will manage staffing to meet build schedules, ensure quality and safety, and enforce procedures in alignment with health and safety policies.

The role requires 1–3 years in production leadership within manufacturing, preferably automotive. A valid driver's license and strong teamwork, communication, and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum required: grade 12 education or equivalent.
• 1-3 years as a production lead or supervisor in manufacturing.
• Automotive manufacturing background is a plus.
• Familiarity with IATF16949 ISO 14001 and OSHA preferred but training available.
• Team oriented with strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
• Valid Driver’s License required; able to be present on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Schedule staffing to meet production build schedules with quality and safety.
• Maintain communication with Plant Management for efficient daily operations.
• Support production team and address areas of concern.
• Ensure work in process is properly tagged per procedures.
• Ensure equipment functions and escalate issues promptly.
• Maintain FIFO unless overridden by customer needs.
• Handle nonconforming products and assist root cause analysis.
• Oversee product handling and storage to prevent damage.
• Adhere to IATF16949 and OSHA policies on the floor.
• Ensure environmental program compliance and safe practices.
• Be visible on the floor; enforce safety policies.
