Job summary

Vari-Form Manufacturing Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead shop floor operations ensuring safe, efficient, and timely production. You will post daily work assignments, align with production needs, and provide hands-on support for all areas of manufacturing.

You will drive product and process safety, quality, delivery, and morale, and lead continuous improvement within the department through coaching and development of direct reports.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ related work experience.
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and Labour Laws.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to train and develop staff.
• Proficient computer skills and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Ability to drive improvements in safety, quality and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily manufacturing operations to meet safety and production targets.
• Schedule and assign personnel according to production needs.
• Coach and train employees to improve performance and teamwork.
• Monitor output, efficiency, and quality, and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
