Job summary

Leonardo DRS in Cypress, CA is seeking a Planner II to own digital work order release, routing maintenance, and day-to-day scheduling in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will coordinate across manufacturing, engineering, materials, quality, and programs to keep production flowing and priorities aligned.

This hands-on planner resolves conflicts without full MRP visibility, supports material tracking and shipping, and maintains planning tools and reports to drive on-time execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in production planning, manufacturing coordination, scheduling, or operations support within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and coordination skills across multiple functions and levels.
• Experience creating or supporting production routings, job travelers, work instructions, or digital work order systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the release of digital work orders to support production execution across multiple programs.
• Create, maintain, and update production routings and related work order data.
• Drive day-to-day scheduling discipline by coordinating priorities and monitoring progress.
• Coordinate across programs and functions to balance priorities and support schedule adherence when MRP is limited.
• Communicate status and priorities to manufacturing, engineering, materials, quality, and program teams.
