Job summary

Leonardo DRS Land Electronics is seeking a Planner II to own and manage manufacturing orders from the Master Production Schedule, ensuring on-time delivery and clear shop-floor communication. You will coordinate with planning, contracts, and project management to keep MO aging under control and provide leadership with visibility into status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in production planning.
• Working knowledge of MRP and MES.
• Hands-on experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Solid understanding of business processes and cross-functional relationships.
• Exceptional communication and cross-functional management skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive daily communication with manufacturing to monitor and manage MO aging and keep orders on track.
• Maintain manufacturing build plans, run/setup times, and completion dates for scheduled jobs.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory and material records.
• Review the schedule to ensure raw materials availability and build forward-looking release plans.
• Highlight critical parts and issues that could impact the MPS.
• Champion the mission, values, and culture across manufacturing and planning.
