Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Assistant Production Supervisor to lead a high-performing production team on the Greeley, CO floor. You will coach 15-30 employees, drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost, and champion continuous improvement.

This contract-to-hire role focuses on developing people, coordinating with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Planning, Logistics, HR, and EHS to meet production goals while upholding standards. On-site position with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Hands-on leadership in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience coaching and developing employees.
• Experience driving Lean, 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 15-30 production employees and team leads.
• Drive daily performance in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.
• Provide visible leadership on the production floor and foster accountability and engagement.
• Conduct coaching, performance discussions, and development planning.
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, cross-training, and succession planning.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing, 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving to eliminate recurring issues.
• Monitor production performance and implement sustainable improvements.
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Planning, Logistics, HR, and EHS to achieve objectives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental and company standards.
