Watts Water Technologies seeks a motivated engineering intern to join our Quality and Production Engineering Team. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting projects and daily operations on the factory floor.

The internship targets a current student pursuing a bachelor’s in manufacturing or mechanical engineering, with strong MS Office skills and an interest in improving production processes. US work authorization required.

Formación

• Current student pursuing your bachelor’s degree in manufacturing/mechanical engineering.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Support Production Engineers by contributing to project execution and daily operational tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Purchasing, Sustaining Engineering, and Production Supervisors to advance project goals.
• Design and develop fixturing and tooling solutions to enhance production cell efficiency.
• Create and revise factory floor layouts to optimize space utilization and workflow.
• Engage directly with production cells and operators on the factory floor to observe, learn, and support operations.
• Analyze cycle times for assemblies and unit production to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Measure and document improvements resulting from implemented changes to validate impact and support continuous improvement efforts.
