Watts Water Technologies, based in Germantown, Wisconsin, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Co‑op to join the team onsite from January to June/August 2027. You will work with experienced engineers to support production operations, improve processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The role offers hands-on experience in problem solving, data analysis, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering or related discipline.
• Experience using office software products used in spreadsheets, documents, and presentations.
• Demonstrated ability to think deeply and critically about processes.
• Demonstrated understanding and implementation of Lean fundamentals.
• Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices.

Responsabilités

• Support the production floor team by troubleshooting production issues and providing technical expertise on manufacturing processes.
• Assist in developing and executing capital projects to improve processes, such as installing new equipment or changing the production layout.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects to improve safety, product quality, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
• Support problem-solving efforts using root cause analysis, fishbone diagrams, and SPC.
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and SOPs.
