Job summary

KingRecruitingServices is seeking a highly independent Process Engineer to lead the process-engineering function at a Griffin, GA plastics manufacturing site. The role requires taking ownership as the single engineering resource, driving data-based improvements and standardizing operating procedures.

You will work hands-on with operators, maintenance, quality, and leadership to deliver measurable performance gains and implement modernized processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; chemical or mechanical preferred.
• Strong analytical and statistical skills.
• Experience with root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Experience creating and revising SOPs and process documentation.
• Ability to translate data into practical manufacturing improvements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve existing production/manufacturing processes.
• Design, run, test, analyze, and upgrade systems and processes.
• Evaluate production, process-control, and quality systems using data and statistics.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective-action initiatives.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement safety, quality, productivity, and cost improvements.
• Develop procedures and best practices for consistent, high-quality operations.
• Train employees on new processes and process improvements.
• Support digitalization and modernization of manufacturing processes.
