Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking a highly independent Process Engineer to serve as the primary process-engineering resource for the Griffin, GA facility. You will operate as an engineering group of one, identifying problems, gathering data, developing solutions, and training others to sustain improvements.

You will analyze and improve processes, design and test systems, lead root-cause analysis, and drive digitalization across manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• Experience as a Process Engineer in production/manufacturing is required.
• Ability to work independently with significant ownership of the process-engineering function.
• Strong analytical and statistical skills.
• Experience creating and improving SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve existing production processes.
• Design, run, test, analyze, and upgrade systems and processes.
• Evaluate production, process-control, and quality systems using data and statistics.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective-action initiatives.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement safety, quality, productivity, and cost improvements.
• Develop procedures and best practices for consistent high-quality operations.
• Create and revise procedures and work instructions from data findings.
• Develop practical solutions to improve production rates and product quality.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, and plant leadership to implement improvements.
• Train employees on new processes and process improvements.
• Support digitalization and modernization of manufacturing processes.
