Post Consumer Brands in Battle Creek, Michigan seeks a Process Engineer to lead day-to-day manufacturing improvements. You’ll own process parameters, optimize safety, quality, yield, and line performance while partnering with Operations and Engineering to deliver measurable gains.

This frontline role emphasizes problem solving, data-driven decisions, and hands-on leadership to sustain and enhance production efficiency across assigned lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• 2-5 years of manufacturing experience in process engineering and/or process development (food or consumer products a plus).
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement methodologies.

Responsabilités

• Be the frontline process owner for sustaining and improving safety, quality, yield, rates, and efficiency on your assigned area/lines.
• Own processing parameters and provide technical oversight to Operations.
• Lead process improvement efforts using best practices and equipment upgrades.
• Provide daily technical support to sustain performance targets and troubleshoot upsets.
• Support data collection and reporting systems enabling strong process control and meaningful improvement work.
• Identify and recommend innovative equipment/technology for capability upgrades.
• Lead small capital projects and serve as a technical sponsor for major improvements.
• Partner on product/process changes as plant representative and provide commercialization support.
• Support technical training for Operations Specialists/trainers and strengthen problem-solving capability on the floor.
• Drive cost and loss reduction initiatives related to ingredients/materials and finished product performance.
