Job summary
BD is seeking a Process Engineer to support assigned manufacturing lines with data-driven decisions aimed at improving Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People (SQDCP). You will lead process optimization, automation, and capital projects while collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and R&D.
You will develop technical capabilities within teams, perform RCA, and drive improvements in OEE, throughput, and labor efficiency across multiple functional areas.
Qualifications
- Experience troubleshooting highly automated manufacturing equipment in a regulated production environment.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies, root cause analysis, and project management preferred.
- Experience with capital projects, equipment installation, automation, or modernization initiatives preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
Responsibilities
- Support production through daily technical troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Lead capacity expansion through process optimization and automation.
- Drive quality, waste reduction, reliability, and cost-improvement initiatives.
- Support modernization and capital project execution.
- Develop technical capabilities within maintenance and operations teams.
- Apply engineering principles and analytics to improve manufacturing performance.
- Mentor technicians and lead project teams across functions.
