Job summary

DN Tanks LLC in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a Preconstruction Estimating Intern to gain hands-on experience in civil engineering and construction. You’ll work under a dedicated mentor on real tank projects, contribute to site evaluations, and learn the full lifecycle from conception to completion.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an engineering or construction management program, comfortable with CAD software and Excel, and prepared to relocate to our office in Grand Prairie.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Engineering or Construction Management undergraduate program.
• Concentration in Civil Engineering preferred.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Regional Estimators with project site condition evaluation and tank site drawings in AutoCAD.
• Prepare earthwork takeoffs using Civil 3D and sitework estimates in Excel.
• Solicit bid level pricing for cranes, rebar, fencing and subcontractor scopes.
