Job summary

Green Era is seeking a hands-on Plant Maintenance Lead to manage a small team of mechanics and contractors. You will oversee installation, alignment, and ongoing maintenance of pumps, tanks, and utilities, while solving complex mechanical and electrical issues.

You will guide preventive and predictive programs, manage the CMMS, and ensure safe operations. A strong background in mechanical engineering and leadership is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on experience in industrial maintenance or mechanical engineering including leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of 24V-480V equipment and VFDs/controls.
• Proficiency in welding/fabrication/rigging and reading prints/schematics.
• Experience managing CMMS, parts kitting, maintenance planning, and budgets.
• Proven people leadership and OSHA/LOTO compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own accountability for all plant maintenance; translate strategy into team priorities.
• Lead, schedule, and develop a team of technicians and contractors; manage budget and CMMS; stay hands-on.
• Install, align, and maintain pumps, tanks, conveyors, and utilities; troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Guide root-cause analysis; drive continuous improvement to reduce downtime and boost throughput.
• Enforce safety protocols including LOTO, Hot Work, NFPA 70E, OSHA 1910 across the team.
