Qualifications

• Proven work experience in a plant leadership role.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing operations management.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to drive change, improvement, and meet productivity expectations.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, analytical, change-management, and PC skills required.
• Must be a dynamic leader who is an active leader and participant for positive change.
• Strong Lean manufacturing experience with a track record of CI tools, methods, and projects.
• Ability to hold others accountable and to effectively direct and coach the activity of others.
• Ability to work and lead others, and be aligned with corporate organizational and functional expertise.
• Proven managerial experience & adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning and resource allocation).
• Must be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, and inventory processes.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety and OSHA compliance in the plant.
• Lead KPI improvement including production efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions to meet objectives.
• Develop and coach managers, supervisors, and staff.
• Hire and train employees and manage performance appraisals.
• Minimize scrap and returns; track quality indicators.
• Develop QC spreadsheets and monitor plant processes.
• Collaborate with functional experts to learn and implement processes.
• Apply Lean to drive continuous improvement across processes.
• Provide hands-on supervision and leadership for production personnel.
