Job summary

Jobot is seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing and production operations within a growing organization. You will drive safety, quality, efficiency, and accountability while guiding continuous improvement initiatives.

This role requires strong leadership and experience in lean manufacturing, budgeting, and ERP/production scheduling systems, with a focus on scalable, data-driven processes. On-site work is required with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing operations leadership experience.
• Hands-on machining and/or production-floor experience.
• Experience managing budgets, costs, and margins.
• Strong team leadership and accountability experience.
• Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.
• ERP and production scheduling systems experience.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing and production-floor operations.
• Drive safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, and operational KPIs.
• Lead Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage and develop production teams while driving performance and accountability.
• Oversee production scheduling, workflow, and resource utilization.
• Manage operating budgets and understand costs, margins, and financial performance.
• Translate operational results into measurable business and financial impact.
• Partner with leadership to improve processes, systems, and operational infrastructure.
• Support implementation of new equipment, technology, and manufacturing capabilities.
