Job summary

Harbor Group Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee multifamily property maintenance, lead the team, respond to service requests, perform preventative work, and manage inventory while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will coordinate with vendors, supervise in-house staff, and ensure make-readies and inspections meet company expectations. Strong technical skills and customer focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of multifamily property maintenance experience, including turnover.
• At least one year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Expertise in general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, or appliance repair.
• EPA Universal or HVAC certification as required by property.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and guide the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, HVAC, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general maintenance issues.
• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders per standards and timelines.
• Oversee make-ready process: pre-move-out inspections, punch lists, vendor scheduling, final checks.
• Maintain safe, clean, and visually appealing common areas and exteriors.
• Schedule and supervise in-house and contractor work; manage inventory and parts.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance and document results.
• Ensure OSHA safety protocols and MSDS sheets are up-to-date.
