KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee complex construction projects in Central Virginia. This onsite role emphasizes hands-on leadership, coordinating equipment, subcontractors, and budgets to bring projects to life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical), Building Construction, or Construction Engineering Management.
• Hands-on project management experience in commercial, heavy industrial, mission critical construction projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage equipment, material, and subcontractor estimates.
• Handle purchasing and release of non-commodity items.
• Oversee submittal, operations, maintenance, and closeout processes.
• Negotiate and price all change orders.
• Submit RFIs and review responses for scope impact.
• Provide project information to Construction Manager, job Superintendent, Fabrication Division, and Start-up Supervisor.
• Collaborate with the Virtual Construction Department for detailing information.
