Job summary

KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing is seeking an experienced Project Manager for industrial HVAC, mechanical systems, modular equipment, or data center infrastructure. Manage multimillion-dollar projects from proposal through commissioning and coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement and construction teams.

The role demands 5+ years of PM experience, strong scheduling/budgeting skills, and excellent communication. Bachelor’s in engineering preferred; PMP is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in industrial, mechanical, HVAC, packaged equipment, manufacturing, or mission-critical environments.
• Experience managing customer-facing capital projects from kickoff through completion.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, fabrication, procurement, and construction.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from proposal and contract award through engineering, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and project closeout.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, procurement, quality, scheduling, and field execution teams.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts (ETC/EAC), and risk mitigation plans.
• Lead customer meetings, negotiate contract changes, and manage change orders.
• Monitor project performance to ensure scope, quality, schedule, and financial objectives are achieved.
• Support commissioning, startup activities, warranty transition, and project closeout.
