KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Project Manager to lead mechanical, plumbing, and sheet metal construction projects from preconstruction turnover through closeout. You will own project execution, financial performance, contracts, procurement, billing, risk management, customer relationships, and team leadership.

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of progressive construction experience, with proven success managing multi-million dollar

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of progressive construction experience.
• Experience managing mechanical, plumbing, and/or sheet metal construction projects.
• Experience managing projects valued at $10 million or more is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations for construction projects and mentor project staff.
• Plan labor resources with field leadership to maintain safe, efficient progress.
• Manage budgets, schedules, cost controls, forecasting, WIP reporting, and cash flow.
• Oversee contract administration, change management, and project risk.
• Lead turnover, permitting, setup, scheduling, submittals, and closeout activities.
• Procure materials and subcontractor agreements; manage procurement.
• Develop billing schedules and oversee progress billings and collections.
• Review invoices and manage project tools, rentals, and equipment.
• Identify variances, forecast needs, and implement corrective actions.
