Worksource Oregon partners with a Portland Metro employer recruiting a Project Manager for a manufacturing environment in Gresham. Full‑time role with hours Mon‑Thu 7:00 AM–5:00 PM and Fri 7:00 AM–2:00 PM.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of project management or operations experience in hands-on settings, strong problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills, and a detail‑oriented ownership mindset focused on schedule, quality, and cost control.

Qualifications

• 10+ years relevant project management or operations experience in manufacturing, construction, fabrication, automotive/RV, or another hands-on production environment.
• Strong problem-solving, organization, communication, teamwork, and follow-through.
• Highly detail-oriented with a strong ownership mindset and focus on schedule, quality, and cost control.
• Comfortable in both office and shop environments; mechanically inclined and not afraid of physical work when needed.
• Proactive, dependable, self-directed, and motivated to build systems and grow with the company.

Responsibilities

• Open and prepare the facility, lead a short morning team meeting, coordinate daily priorities, and verify proper closing at the end of the day.
• Coordinate sales, engineering, purchasing, production, vendors, inspections, service, and delivery.
• Maintain schedules, priorities, task ownership, project notes, parts requirements, and follow-up using Zoho, Monday.com, Trello, and related systems.
• Manage procurement, order required parts/materials on time, verify deliveries, and prevent production delays.
• Perform hands-on quality-control checks and catch problems before they become costly rework or customer issues.
• Build and improve repeatable systems for accountability, communication, quality, purchasing, scheduling, and production flow.
• Resolve difficult day-to-day problems and keep multiple projects moving simultaneously.
• Assist hands-on when needed, including minor repairs, material handling, trailer preparation, and occasional loading/unloading.
