Job summary

WorkSource Oregon is partnering with a Portland Metro employer to hire a Plumber/Multiskilled Technician for our manufacturing environment in Gresham. You will install, repair and test plumbing systems for custom food trailers, and work both in the shop and outdoors to ensure leak-free, compliant installations.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year basic plumbing knowledge and hands-on experience in RV, trailer, construction, fabrication or commercial settings.
• Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
• Detail-oriented, quality-minded, reliable and safety-conscious.
• Communicative and team-oriented; able to work with coworkers, supervisors, and other trades.
• Flexible and multi-skilled; able to help outside plumbing when needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, test, and troubleshoot plumbing systems used in custom food trailers.
• Work with water supply and drain systems, sinks, faucets, pumps, tanks, valves, water heaters, PEX, PVC/ABS, and related components.
• Use common hand and power tools safely and confidently, including drills, impact drivers, grinders, saws, and wrenches.
• Support installation, assembly, testing, repair, cleanup, and final trailer preparation as needed.
• Work both inside the shop and outdoors depending on the project.
• Inspect completed work carefully to prevent leaks, rework, failed inspections, and unnecessary cost.

JOB DUTIES

HOURS: Full-time, Monday through Thursday 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
