Job summary

Alinabal, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to develop, improve, and support manufacturing processes, working with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Operations to troubleshoot production issues, improve methods, and implement sustainable process improvements.

You will help transition new and existing products into efficient, repeatable processes, manage tooling and fixtures, review drawings, and document processes while contributing to safety, quality, and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related engineering discipline; equivalent combinations may be considered.
• 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or related environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and methods.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specs, and docs.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S in production settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, document, and improve manufacturing processes, methods, and workflows.
• Provide hands-on engineering support to manufacturing and production teams; troubleshoot issues.
• Evaluate existing processes to improve safety, quality, productivity, throughput and cost.
• Develop and improve production tooling, fixtures, equipment, and methods.
• Review drawings and specs to determine appropriate processes.
• Maintain manufacturing documentation: work instructions, process specs, routings, BOMs, ERP records.
• Support introduction of new products and engineering changes into production.
• Ensure processes are capable, repeatable, and suitable for production requirements.
• Investigate issues using root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Assist with material discrepancies, nonconformances, and related quality issues.
• Analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities and cost reductions.
• Support Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
