Job summary

Sora Resource Group seeks a Manufacturing Engineer for a state-of-the-art production facility in Wisconsin. This hands-on role reports to the Automation Engineering Manager and focuses on driving process improvements across operations.

You will work closely with Production, Maintenance, and Engineering to resolve day-to-day issues and sustain gains. The ideal candidate brings 3+ years in manufacturing engineering, a strong independent work ethic, and proven project management skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering is required.
• 3+ years’ experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a custom assembly operation.
• Strong leadership experience and ability to work independently and with a team.
• Excellent communication skills across all staff levels.
• Prior project management experience, start to finish, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Solve hands-on manufacturing problems to improve day-to-day performance.
• Collaborate with Production, Continuous Improvement, Maintenance, and Engineering.
• Develop and implement practical process improvements and sustain them.
• Maintain a strong manufacturing floor presence and assist operators and supervisors.
• Coordinate planning, design, and validation of manufacturing processes.
