Hunter Engineering Company in Raymond, MS is offering a Spring 2027 Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op to contribute toward plant performance through continuous improvement projects, mentored by a manufacturing engineer. You will design fixtures, update layouts, and help implement tools and equipment for processes, gaining real-world experience in metal fabrication and assembly.

This co-op starts January 2027 and ends May 2027, and is ideal for students pursuing Mechanical or Manufacturing

Qualifications

• Majors listed: Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering (preferred) or related 4-year degree.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and validate fixtures and tooling for production and/or material handling.
• Verify and update plant layout drawings as required.
• Research, order, and implement tools and plant equipment for existing and new processes.
• Create or revise process documentation including work instructions and technical procedures.
• Utilize a hands-on approach to complete specific projects to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
• Troubleshoot processes and equipment issues.
• Perform other duties as specified by the supervisor.
