As part of the co‑op, you will design fixtures and tooling, verify plant layouts, research and implement tools, create process documentation, and apply a hands‑on approach to boost safety, quality, and productivity.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Strong interest in design of fixtures and tooling for production.
• Ability to contribute to process improvement and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and validate fixtures and tooling for production and/or material handling.
• Verify and update plant layout drawings as required.
• Research, order and implement tools and plant equipment for existing and new processes.
• Create or revise process documentation including work Instructions and technical procedures.
• Use hands-on approach to complete projects to improve safety, quality and productivity.
• Troubleshoot processes and equipment issues.
• Perform other duties as specified by the supervisor.
