Job summary

FALCATA Defense & Space Systems Division in Huntsville, AL seeks a Manufacturing Engineer Aid to support low quantity high mix electronics manufacturing. You will assist with manufacturing documentation, material coordination, equipment setup, process control, and shop-floor activities across SMT, box builds, and mechanical manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant experience (degree in lieu of experience accepted).
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and process specs.
• Experience with MES/PLM systems and manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage data in PLM/ERP and maintain BOMs, revisions, and work orders.
• Support SMT, electromechanical, and assembly processes on the shop floor.
• Maintain calibration records, training, and safety documentation.
• Assist with material planning, kitting, and shop tasks to meet delivery schedules.
• Ensure compliance with IPC/J-STD, MIL, and DOD standards.
