Job summary
Insight Global is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to help lead maintenance operations across a large, highly automated distribution network. You will work with technicians, site leadership, and clients to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency in a 24/7 facility.
This hands-on leadership role oversees maintenance activities, supports technicians, manages work orders, and champions continuous improvement initiatives with a clear path toward senior leadership opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience.
- 3+ years leading maintenance teams and programs.
- Experience managing preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Background in industrial, manufacturing, or distribution center environments.
- Proven experience with safety compliance, audits, and protocols.
- Ability to work flexible schedules and provide on-call support when needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day maintenance operations and technician support
- Prioritize and assign work orders based on technician skillsets
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs
- Conduct facility inspections and safety audits
- Lead shift handoffs and maintenance team communications
- Drive operational improvements and equipment reliability initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and procedures
- Partner with site leadership and clients to support facility performance
